"It feels clean but not drying!"

David F.

'Olili Oil bar: "By far your best product!  I soften it up in a tray with warm water and smooth it on after a shower.  The only moisturizer that can keep working through the next shower leaving my skin supple". "Love it!"

Anne P.
Director of food service for the homeless, WA.

"I am having a fantastic hair day and I think it's ('OLILI) every bit as good as the salon.  I don't like to blow dry my hair but the definition in my waves and the texture are just perfect!"

Note: this customer used the shampoo and conditioner bar and followed with a light spray of her usual styling product-leave in conditioner while the hair air dried.

About Us

Shawna Brizzolara, MD

Company Owner

Let me introduce myself, Shawna S. Brizzolara, MD FACOG, Women’s Health Specialist and someone who loves the grace of Hawaii. I came to Hawaii after medical school at UCD in 1979 and never left our beautiful state and all it has to offer. Oahu is where I built my home, family and life. I continued my career in the medical field but pursued other interests of surfing, painting, design, growing vanilla and research. Hawaiian living: its calming nature, trade winds, sun and surf— an active lifestyle that has an allure-- but paradise has its price. Our tropical sun can put stress on the support tissues of our bodies, leaving dry and damaged skin.

As far back as 2008 I had an academic interest in the connective tissues and skin as support for our bodies, and I chose this topic for my research (1). My findings showed that inflammation is a key factor in damaging the body’s healthy support tissues and skin, and that our skin has the huge potential for absorbing many bad-- and good --products simply by applying them to its surface. This led to my desire to develop a product that would support our skin: a simple system that would deliver the good ingredients known for their anti-inflammatory properties to the skin and hair, without the bad, highly allergenic and inflammatory components found in most products. After trial-and-error experiments over the course of six years, ‘Olili was created. Handmade in Hawaii with the finest gentle vegan ingredients. Uncompromising. Safe and nourishing for your skin. ‘Olili products are never tested on animals.

At ‘Olili, our mission is to deliver an elegantly designed, wonderful tactile experience that nourishes the skin and hair without harsh preservatives and fragrance. We developed a solid skin oil formulated as solid bars that are easy to use and can travel with you.

“This feels so supple and it does not disappear until the next shower!” is a typical reaction from our first-time users. We think you will agree.

“‘Olili” is a Hawaiian word describing the shimmering water under the moon. I believe that my body oil bar is a conditioner that will bring that same light to your skin. Soak in nature. Bathe in elegance.
